Pet Sitting Service for Lake George, Diamond point, Bolton Landing, Queensbury, Glens Falls, Lake Luzerne, Chestertown and other neighboring towns

I started pet sitting about 20 years ago when I was living in Connecticut.  I owned a horse farm and never went on vacation because I didn't trust anybody to take care of my 7 horses, 5 cats, chickens, peacocks and German Shepherd.  One day a good friend approached me and knew that after years of being tied to my farm I needed to get away.  That friend not only gave me a much needed worry free vacation but also became my partner in JJS Pet Sitting (named after my farm Jumping Jack Stable).  Together we grew a successful pet sitting business until I was drawn to the Adirondacks.  I vacationed every summer in Lake George with my parents when I was young and knew one day I would live here.  So I took my knowledge (and every penny I had) moved here and started up Adirondack Pet Sitting.  The first few years were tough.  I had to take on numerous job all the while trying to accumulate a client list.  I worked in hotels, guided horseback trail rides and even delivered newspapers.  Before long thru advertising, local veterinarian recommendation and word of mouth from satisfied clients I my business was steadily growing.  Now I am happy to say I never have to look in the "Help Wanted" section again.  The days are long - I sometimes get up at 5:00 in the morning and don't go to bed until midnight.  But I absolutely enjoy my job and feel lucky to be earning a living doing what I love.
